Skirvin Hotel and Amtrak to Texas, March 28 and 29, still waiting for Skirvin Pricing:

Off you will go on a luxury trip.  The first stop is the famed Round Barn in Arcadia, then on to Edmond where a local guide will show you the town.  Did you know that UCO was our state’s first higher education facility?  That the city is filled with historic buildings and stories.  Let’s enjoy them.  Lunch will be on your own in downtown Edmond, known for its blend of gift stores and eateries.  In Oklahoma City, we tour the Dale Chahuly exhibit at their Art Museum before we check into the Skirvin Hotel.  The Skirvin was once the finest hotel in the state.  It stood empty for decades before over $400 million was spent in renovations.  It is once more the state’s finest hotel.  A Will Rogers impersonator will entertain you at the included dinner.  Then, rise and shine on Saturday as we take the Amtrak train to Ft. Worth.  This afternoon, we visit Dallas with the aid of a local guide. We will concentrate on Fair Park which is the largest display of Art Deco in the nation.  We should return to Tulsa by 9 p.m.
